Why use TMPL?
Planning conferences is time-consuming
and requires a variety of skills to ensure the event is delivered successfully,
within budget and on schedule. Unfortunately your regular workload rarely
diminishes just because it’s conference time. You need to know that all
aspects will be covered, from the conference title and logo, choice of
venue, speaker support and delegate relations. TMPL can support you in
creating the event you want to deliver.
Where do we start?
If you are thinking about planning a
conference, please contact us for a free consultation. We will talk through
the areas that you need to consider. For example:
- what do you want to achieve? The content will need to be stimulating and useful to entice delegates. The content may be about moving thinking forward, making decisions, sharing new information, engendering debate to shape future policy, celebrating achievement, inter and intra sectoral networking, lobbying or simply creating a buzz
- timing – it is imperative to plan far enough ahead; great venue spaces are hard to find and normally book up very quickly
- what structure will work best? Keynotes? Workshops? Discussion groups? Highly interactive?
- are there key participants and speakers that you simply must engage in the process?
- delegates – are you clear about your target market? Have you determined how you will attract your delegates?
- do you have a set budget – this inevitably influences a range of decisions
TMPL fees
After an initial consultation, we would be able to give you a more accurate breakdown of our fees. But as a rough rule of thumb, our fees would normally range from between 12% and 16% of the total budget, depending on the scale and support needed to complete the work.
